We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, encrypted password) and information you enter into the application (incidents, diary entries, uploaded messages, and related documentation). We may collect limited technical data such as device type and session information to operate and improve the service.
Your data is used solely to provide the CoParentEvidence service — to store, organize, and display your documentation. We do not sell your data. We do not share, license, or transfer your personal documentation to any third party, including advertisers, data brokers, or other users. We share data with infrastructure providers (such as secure cloud storage and authentication services) only to the minimum extent necessary to operate the service, under strict data processing agreements.
We use industry-standard security measures including secure authentication, access controls, and encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS). Our hosting, database, and storage providers provide encryption at rest for database records, stored files, and environment variable secrets. Sensitive authentication factors such as passwords and multi-factor authentication secrets are stored using cryptographic hashing or encryption. No system can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for protecting access to your account, devices, and credentials. We recommend enabling PIN lock in Privacy Settings.
You may export your data at any time using the Reports feature. You may delete your account and all associated data permanently at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You may contact us at hello@coparentevidence.com to request information about data we hold or to report a privacy concern.
This application is specifically designed for sensitive personal, family, and legal documentation. We treat all content with heightened care. CoParentEvidence employees and contractors do not access your personal documentation content except when required to investigate a reported security incident or as required by law.
If we receive a valid legal request (such as a subpoena or court order) that requires disclosure of your data, we will notify you promptly to the extent permitted by law so you may seek appropriate legal counsel.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems within 30 days.
This service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@coparentevidence.com.
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email before they take effect.
